Looking on Craigslist I found a real bargain for the RV. A hitch mounted cargo rack for $30. What a deal. Now I don't have to bring in the generator each evening. We had a bike rack there so I cleaned it up and my wife gave it another coat of Rustoleum. It's now up for sale on CL for, yes, $30!!
Pete Hamborg stopped by on Sunday. He and his sons make huge scateboards locally in Huntington Beach. Business is going well for him and he has started an aggressive 'gorilla' advertising campaign. We park the RV in the same spot every day (free WI-FI) and park parallel to the busy Pacific Coast Highway. Anyway he proposed that we put a huge sign on the side of the RV to help promote the product. Of course he would pay us (cool) for the trouble. I'm actually looking forward to being a mobile advert.
All in all it was another great weekend on the beach, spoiled only with a little work here and there!
