Lucky Beach

I went back to the same beach Thursday and Friday for about three hours each day. I am continuing down the beach at the rate of half the distance between towers each trip, working the high wet sand areas. I have been using my Whites PI exclusively and my home made scoop.
Again most of the targets turned out to be nails and other bits of iron but there was also some clad, one more silver ring and a gold earring. The ring was found on Thursday and the earring on Friday so it has been a pretty good beach so far. I will keep going back as I'm sure it still holds better treasures. Next week the low tides are much greater, leading up to the full moon, so I'll be able to hunt lower in the same areas.

There goes one of my dreams!
While detecting I looked up to see the sailboat I sold last week passing by on its way to Newport where it will be prepped for a trip to Tahiti.

It was nice to see her but a little sad too.
