I gave up working for a living some months ago!
Now I make my living from treasure hunting (primarily) and any other means that come along.
That being said, I do not need much money to survive as I have reduced my bills to two; phone and RV storage.
I TH every day and have been doing well recently.
We had some high swells a few weeks ago which caused major sand erosion.
I am now videoing my hunts and results and posting them on Youtube under the channel 'Fredrick Van Dweller'
See you there??
Good luck and happy hunting.

April Update
I have been busy TH'ing, almost every day, since my last post.
The beach sand is not acting in a manner that would help my searches, so I have been hunting the dry sand areas with my Garret Ace 250.
The 250 is the perfect machine for my type of detecting. It is able to discriminate out iron and lets me know if a target is trash or treasure (most of the time). It is very good for searching the first 6 inches of sand, and quite good on deeper targets. As most of my targets are recent drops they are in that first 6 inches.
I have also been hitting the wet sand at lower tides but targets are few and far between.

Gold on the last January day
I thought that January was going to be a bust, gold wise, as for most of the month I had been finding silver and junk, and not much of that either.
I decided to go back to a past productive beach and, after a couple of forays on two other beaches, that's where I headed.
There has been some erosion with walls along a lot of the beaches.
I detected from the base of the wall down to the water, in a parallel grid pattern.
There were lots of coins then a silver ring.
I got an ID bracelet about half way down the slope. I did not not think much of it at the time as I have found similar bracelets before and they have all been junk.
When I got home though I looked at it more closely and there it was...the 14k mark!
It weighs 23g.
I have decided to go back to that same beach on my next outing!
This one is unmarked. I think it is plated.
